Mgo sulphate board has a square edged, smooth finish front side and sanded texture on the reverse. The board is suited for ceiling, partition, internal walls, external walls and flooring. All wall finishing’s are suited to be painted, tiled, wallpapered, stucco, laminate and rendered, and with flooring it can be finished with tiles, linoleum and carpet.
Mgo Sulphate Board Application:
– Wet areas. The waterproofing requirements of all relevant codes, standards and regulations must be met. Water proofing membranes according to manufacturer’s specifications and application methods must be consulted and complied with.
– On order addition thicknesses available are 3mm, 4mm, 6mm, 8mm, 9mm, 10mm, 15mm, 18mm and 20mm. Each thickness has its own “Flexibility” tolerance to suit.
-Painting. The use of a sealer coat, preparation undercoat and sanding is strictly recommended prior to any application of paint. Always follow the paint manufacturer’s recommendations for paint suitability, mixing instructions and applications.
MgO Sulphate board has very low carbon footprint and it can be recycled or re-purposed. It contributes to clean landfills since it is classified as a mineral and when ground to powder becomes a valuable soil amender.
