Magnesium Oxide (MgO) boards are a new technology for construction applications. MgO boards could be used to construct walls, both inside as partitions and outside as exterior sheathing. Mgo boards could also be used as ceiling where the boards are installed on a galvanized steel sections, false floors, countertops and many other construction applications.
MgO boards could be used anywhere Gypsum boards or dry walls could be used, besides many other applications. MgO boards do have many advantages over gypsum boards or dry walls which make them the material of choice for new constructions and renovations.
Our product has been extensively tested by both the Egyptian national institute for building research and The Egyptian Institute for standards.

Why use magnesium oxide boards?
Fireproof capabilities : MgO boards have excellent fireproof capabilities. A 10mm thick board can resist fires up to 4 hours. That makes it ideal for applications where fireproof is a crucial issue.
Resistance to water : MgO boards are water resistant and does not absorb water. As a result it does not peel off or soften if used in high humidity areas. That makes MgO boards ideal for high humidity areas such as bathrooms or kitchens. MgO boards could be used as a backing board for ceramics or it could be directly painted or decorated.
Sound and heat insulation : MgO boards could be constructed for sound proofing in partitions and places where we require sound proofing. It is also considered very good insulator for heat.
Scratchproof : Our MgO boards has a very smooth surface that could be covered with PVC, vinyl, or washable acrylic paint and can be used for decoration.
Shockproof : Fibre web inside he boards are designed to absorb chocks. It results in a shockproof and bend-proof boards to increase durability.
Health concerns : MgO boards are Asbestos free and radio active free.
Mold and mildew proof : MgO Boards are resistance for bacterial, mold, and mildew growth. That makes it suitable for hospitals constructions since bacterial resistance is of utmost importance.
